I hear it all of the time.
“I’ve always wanted to write a book.”
Pablo Picasso once famously said, “Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working.”
Truer words have never been spoken. Let’s do the math now. If you write 500 words/day for 100 days, that’s 50,000 words–more than enough for a decent manuscript. Throw in some editing, cover development, interior design, and an index. If you start writing on the first of the new year, you could be holding a book–scratch that, your book–in your hands by June 1.
Seriously.
So, what’s stopping you?
2012 is the year!
