Want to learn more about the business of writing and publishing?
Apr | 28 | 2013

Over the last five years, I’ve learned quite a bit about the publishing world. When I attend networking events, would-be authors and existing writers consistently ask me questions about my experiences.

To that end, I’ll be hosting a writing and publishing day-long seminar in Las Vegas on June 7th from 9 am to 5 pm. Over the course of this intimate event, attendees will learn the following:

  • The different ways to publish your book–and the pros and cons of each
  • Ways to gain traction as an author
  • Understanding the writing process
  • Some tips on marketing
  • And much more

There will be plenty of time for networking and individual Q&A. Lunch and snacks will be included.

Phil Simon gives writers like me an overview of the writing and publishing process, from choosing a topic to publishing options and marketing your completed book. Every writer considering undertaking the tremendous effort required to complete, edit and publish a manuscript will benefit from planning their project with an informed perspective. Phil explained what publishers are looking and described the market conditions so I am poised to make the most advantageous decisions for my book’s success. I walked into Phil Simon’s Las Vegas Writing and Publishing Seminar confident of the direction my book writing and publishing would take, because I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I exited awakened to the ins and outs of the industry and armed with a strategy that will increase my chances of hitting my projected sales on my first book. Thank you, Phil.
